Plant and system
1. RAW MATERIAL PREPARATION
A ball mill wet-grinds the quartz sand with water to a sand slurry. The sand slurry is stored in slurry tanks and pumped into the slurry weighing hopper in the mixer tower. The binders are stored in silos. It is also possible to mill the anhydrite together with the sand in the ball mill. The aluminum powder or paste is prepared in a separate building where it is dispersed in water.
All the components are accurately weighed and are released into the mixer in a pre-defined order. The LAXMI recipe and temperature control system constantly monitors this process.
LAXMI also has the knowledge and the experience to produce AAC with alternative raw materials, for example with fly ash
2. CASTING, RISING/PRE-CURING AND MOULD CIRCULATION
The mould consists of four fixed sides and one detachable platform. The inner mould surfaces are covered with demoulding release oil before casting. This oil is applied either manually. The mix is then poured into the mould. A transfer platform transports the filled casting mould to the closed and heated pre-hardening area, also called the Pre-curing room. Due to the alkaline reaction of the aluminium in the slurry, many small bubbles develop in the compound. At the same time, the cake begins to harden. After a waiting time of approx. 2 - 3 hours, the preset "green strength" (cutting strength) is reached. The waiting time depends on the temperature in the Pre-curing room, but also on the quality of the raw materials used and the chosen recipe.
3. TILTING
The tilting crane tilts the mould by 90 Degree. The Tilting crane unlocks the mould and removes the mould body, so that the cake remains on Side plate for cutting. This tilting system has proven to be the safest method for tilting the cake into the vertical cutting position, as the cake is remaining on Side plate for the cutting process.
4. CUTING
The cake in cut by high precision cutting machines. Cutting is done by pneumatically tensioned cutting wires. As the aerated concrete block stands upright, it is possible to use short cutting wires. The horizontal cutter and vertical cutter cut the block length and width. All waste material generated in the cutting process is collected in a basin underneath the cutting line, recycled, and returned to the production process.
5. AUTOCLAVING
After cutting, the green cakes are grouped on steam car by crane. The aerated concrete is hardened under steam pressure in special, sealed pressure vessels, the autoclaves, thereby achieving its final strength. The steam pressure is approx. 12 bar, the temperature approx. 192 Degree C. Usually, the hardening time is between 10 and 12 hours. The used steam for the hardening process in the autoclaves is generated in a steam boiler plant. Usually, high-capacity steam boilers that are operated by coal or wood are used to generate the steam.

Steam Trolley
The Steam trolley is the tool carrying the mould box side plates as well as the block body out of the autoclave. Steam trolley hold in high temperature & pressure so required high temperature bearing as well as heavy structure.

Batching System
Pouring & mixing machine is the main equipments in Workshop section of batching pouring covering by The AAC production line. After being metered, various Kinds of raw material and water will be poured into the Cylinder of this pouring & mixing machine, and then All of them will be mixed together into the expected Slurry which will be proper for subsequent pouring. Upon opening the discharge butterfly valve, the slurry will be poured into the mould for pre-curing.
Tilting Crane
Tilting crane turns the block (with mould and side plate) by 90 degrees in air, then hanging on cutting platform or cutting car, to de-mould and cut. In addition, group moulds after de-moulding and side plates of returning back. After grouping, they are hung to pouring return line to carry cycle pouring.
Grouping Crane
After Cutting, Semi-product crane hand blocks on steam curing car, and group before into autoclave. This device have simple structure, suitable operation good quality & easy to maintain. Grouping crane transfer cake, steam trolley, side plate at proper requires position without damaging cake
.Mould Box
Mould is the key equipment included in the AAC production line. When the slurry is poured into mould, it will be subject to pre-curing with the occurrence of foaming then the “cake” ready for subsequent cutting will be available.
Side Plate
Side plate is the tool that matched with mould box for pouring & pre-curing process. And also carrying cake for finished cutting & go into the autoclave. We can also say that Side plate is used for carrying AAC block to cut stack and steam.
Steam Trolley
The Steam trolley is the tool carrying the mould box side plates as well as the block body out of the autoclave. Steam trolley hold in high temperature & pressure so required high temperature bearing as well as heavy structure.
Cutting Machine
Cutting machine is the key equipment in the AAC Production line, the working Principle is the tiling hanger turns the mould 90 degrees in the air, open the mould and takes block onto the cutting cart together with the side plate. The cutting car was driven by the motor. The block would be driven for horizontal and vertical cutting. The cutting cart will move to semi-finished product hoister, and the hoister loads the cut block to trolley in front of the autoclave for grouping. The cutting cart will back for new round cutting

First, the Fly Ash is mixed with water, and made Slurry in a slurry mixture. If Sand is used as a base material, we need a ball mill to grind the sand to fine power. The slurry making process is same sand.
LAXMI''''s computerized Batching and mixing plant forms slurry that finally poured into a mould. The slurry in the mould rises and stiffens to build a cake with millions of tiny pores.
After the cake has gained sufficient strength it is tilted out of the mould and is cut with wires. LAXMI plants are recognized for unsurpassed precise cutting. Tongue and groove, profiles and handholds are cut before autoclaving so that no milling in the hard-cured AAC is required. This reduces production costs and avoids hard scrap.
The precisely cut cake is autoclaved (steam cured) for approx.12 hours. During steam curing the unique crystal structure of AAC is produced which gives AAC its high strength and dimensional stability. The physical properties in relation to its density are far more advanced than in ordinary concrete. LAXMI''''s automatic autoclave system allows easy control of the complicated chemical process in the autoclave.
After cutting, the wet waste slurry will fall into pond under the cutting machine. The water will wash it into waste slurry mixer. Then mixed each other until reach the concentration, it will be pump into the batching section for reservation. ACC Plant which known as Autoclaved Cellular Concrete plant was invented in the mid-1920s by the Swedish architect and inventor Johan Axel Eriksson. ACC Plant is one of the major achievements of the 20th century in the field of construction. It is a lightweight, precast building material that simultaneously provides structure, insulation, and fire and mold resistance. AAC Blocks is a unique and excellent type of building materials due to its superb heat, fire and sound resistance. AAC block is lightweight and offers ultimate workability, flexibility and durability.

Batching System

After being metered, various Kinds of raw material and water will be poured into the Cylinder of this pouring & mixing machine, and then All of them will be mixed together into the expected Slurry which will be proper for subsequent pouring. Tilting crane turns the block (with mould and side plate) by 90 degrees in air, then hanging on cutting platform or cutting car, to de-mould and cut. In addition, group moulds after de-moulding and side plates of returning back. After grouping, they are hung to pouring return line to carry cycle pouring.

After Cutting, Semi-product crane hand blocks on steam curing car, and group before into autoclave. This device have simple structure, suitable operation good quality & easy to maintain. Grouping crane transfer cake, steam trolley, side plate at proper requires position without damaging cake.
